Chief Justice On Trial - Closing Arguments

Today May 28, 2012

12:19PM M.E.

Well tomorrow is the day when the Senate will decide on the Chief Justice's fate. According to the Defense the Prosecution panel was at fault when they did not conduct the cross-examination. Analyst say, Dean of UST (in an interview with Tina on Talk Back), for the Prosecution it is enough that the Chief Justice admitted the Dollar Accounts that was not declared on the SALN. As expected, refuted by the Prosecution, CJ was deceiving the country by not declaring his entire assets and by giving inconsistent statement regarding how he acquired his wealth (by saving). As I have said maybe they didn't eat and didn't send their children to school.

Maybe he bought dollars since he was in Grade 4? In  the closing remarks of Rodolfo Farinas. Watch the video for more details:

The Law for SALN (Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth) and FCD (Foreign Currency Deposits Law) is now in question because of its conflicting nature. The FCD law is now deemend to be used as a scapegoat for any Government Official who has ill-gotten wealth. Corrupt politicians may just use their stasg to buy foreign currency deposits and store them in the bank anonymously or unstated in their SALN because FCD prevents the disclosure and privacy of any individual having any currency that is different from their country's own currency. According to the former Chief Justice Hilario Davide who presided the Impeachment Trial of former President Joseph Estrada, the impeachment is 'Healthy for the Philippines' since we are a young nation and young in terms of political experiences and laws. Our constitution was patterned and handed down to us modeled from the US Constitution. This historic event makes a room for improvement of the FCD and SALN Law that in the future may prevent any Government Officials from hiding ill-gotten wealth. As well as  for the public to monitor the growth of income of any dubious accumulation of Government Officials.

To summarize my view point on this issue:

"Laws were written for the guidance of every citizen even those who are in a government position (without exception). It was not written to mislead nor was it written to be a tool to serve ones personal interpretation for  ones own favor. "

or simply,

The Law... was not written to mislead nor was it written to be a tool for one to interpret in ones own favor.

No matter how we try to keep the the truth from the people and prolong the process of reaching a verdict by fair trial, the truth is simple and it will reveal itself in "good faith" (LOL)

China Distorting the Facts Reported to the Mainland - The Reasons Behind

2:55 PM M.E.

3:45am

Today, the Philippines had announced that Sonia Brady will be its Ambassador to China. Aquino says she knows the culture very well and has contacts that could enable her to "hit the ground running". The Philippines First appointee Domingo Lee was considered inexperiences by the bicameral Commission on Appointments (CA). After CA deferred his appointment before Congress went on Recess, Lee opted out and since then appointed as a sepcial envoy to China for Tourism.

4:24pm

China Distorts Truth Again! (what's new?!) Here it goes:

"The spokesperson of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has disputed a report posted on the website of the Chinese Embassy in Makati City, claiming both the Philippines and China agree that the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) “can not be utilized as a legal ground to claim territorial sovereignty.”
“Therefore, the fact that Huangyan Island (Scarborough Shoal) is within  the 200 nautical miles Exclusive Economic Zone or continental shelf of Luzon Island has no relevance in determining sovereignty either,” said the same report titled “The Standoff between Beijing and Manila around the Huangyan Island: Who owns the shoal?”
The report was written by Gao Jianjun, international law professor at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing."

China is "at it again". Nobody knows when China will stop distorting the facts they report to the mainland to urge their people to protest against the Philippines and fuel them hostile enough to want their government to declare an all-out war to the region. China is not only covering up internal disputes in their country which are considered scandalous enough to ruin their already soiled reputation (Just read about it please). China wants the Oil and Gas of the Philippines. That is one reason. But the underlying benefit which is contained in all books of war but not blatanly declared is the benefit of lesser population for a sustainable development.

Let's go one by one....

China views its population as a menace it can't beat with no valid reason. China has one-child policy because they want to lessen their population which over the years has become burdensome to its government. They even eat fetus and its body parts not because of poverty. China utilises everything it has to be able to survive in this Capitalist world which it hates the United States for. China has so many beliefs that could enhance themselves to be a 'better' human race including inventions of medicines that are way out of scientific explanations. This is why I can say that psychologically Chinese culture has an inclination to be 'god-like'. Even the Shaolin and the Martial Arts they perform are overly exaggerated to the point that people who are ignorant enough can be convinced that they fly through mid-air using the power meditation or reaching the so called 'inner peace' (Kung-Fu panda).

China adheres to Communism because it thinks that having 1.3 Billion population it will be difficult to manage the people through Democracy. Where people will have a say and  freedom to do what they please. The scapegoat of the government is Communism because in Communism poverty is not obvious to the world outside knowing that the idea of Communism is equality.  Communism is one of the most evil ideology invented by man. It distorts reality, it evades truth and hides its people in shadows of misconception. Their government is free to decide on anything because reality is 'created' and the reality that is REAL is covered up by LIES and PROPAGANDAS that BENIFITS THE STATE DICTATORS ONLY.

The value of life in China is miles away from what it was before during the time of the Great Philosophers. The sanctity of life is nowhere to be found in modern day China.  The culture now hides behind the glory of the olden days of the Great Masters. Without those Philosophers China is just a huge country with God-less people who knows nothing about 'respect'.

On Tibet, it has been quite a long journey for the Dalai Lama when China exiled him to Dharamsala in India leaving his hometown Lhasa disoriented until this day. The Tibetan plateau is another strategic location of China's interest. The Himalayan Mountain Range serves as a natural buffer for China's territory. This means that in times of war, it will be very difficult for soldiers or armored vehicles to pass through because of the weather and the the terrain of the Himalayan Mountain Range. In order to protect its interest they 'harrassed' the Dalai Lama and the Monks of Tibet. All of these led to protests that ended in violence in the part of the Chinese Military and Self Immolation--setting oneself on fire on the part of the monks. This is a sacrifice chosen by the Monks instead of hurting anyone in their protest.

Communism is an evil form government. Communism is a scapegoat for leaders who want to dedicate themselves to becoming a Supreme Dictator--a Leviathan. Communism destroys not only the FACTS, your MIND and FAITH, but your whole BEING. Communism go against the Commandments of God as much as it goes against the BASIC LAWS OF HUMAN RIGHTS. China desperately devours whatever it can seemingly unaffected by how the whole world views them.

China will wage war against the Philippines and the ASEAN will be involved and empowered by the US. The US allies will empower US and the war shall break loose all over the globe. China will get what it wants in the beginning. It will conquer some islands of the RP while RP enjoys her riches. Things in the world will go slowly yet fast. China in the end will be defeated. EASY TO SAY BUT THESE ISSUES ARE MORE THAN SKIN-DEEP. This will go back to the issue of morals, of cultural differences, differences driven by economic dispositions, political agendas, security, development, population, and poverty.

To make the long story short. All of these provokations from China is a propaganda so that the Chinese government will have a basis to go to war. When people on both sides have deaths, China will have more deaths because its country is a peninsula populated in every square inch. One bomb can hit probably 10 towns with 100 Million population. Reduce at least 100-300 Million citizens and China will grow unimpededly faster than any country in the world because her people will have enough jobs, sustainable income, and energy consumption will also be lower. So whether she will get some islands with oil and gas after the war OR not. She will still benefit from the loss of millions of lives of Chinese people who hinders her growth since its population became uncontrolable. Why did China not do it before? They don't have enough reason to commit genocide. They saw that the oil and gas of the RP will be a great opportunity to start the genocidal plan. They needed the working population to increase GDP. Lastly, they are just starting to realise how much the resources of the Philippines will help them in their high demand of energy. If they go to war their government will not be blamed. Instead they will pass on the blame to the Philippines and the US.

They will wage war to reduce population for a sustainable growth of a growing economy. Less population. Less demand. Less work to be done. -- Creedo of Communism

Chief Justice on Trial - The Walk-Out

Tuesday 8:42 PM M.E.

A few minutes ago…. In the Philippines 12:19am chief justice CJ Corona just coming out of the Senate after a 3 hour statement aside from the preliminary statement.

Nag withdraw pa nga siya a day before ng uminit ang issue eh. Sabi nga kanina ng analyst, you appeal to the jury either by reason or by symphaty. The rule is yong tindi ng convincing powers mo.

According to him he saved for 45 years for what he has now. Why do the Prosecution and the President accuse him of Ill-Gotten Wealth? They do not even use AC and does not have maids at home. they live simply though he cannot deny that he was not born from a poor family. He studied in Harvard, Ateneo De Manila, and University of Santo Tomas.

Save yourself!

And so the Chief Justice excused himself after signing the waiver to reveal his 'Dollar Accounts'. The Senate President was upset and ordered respect for the court when Corona came back. He was found sitting on the stairs that is heading to the basement parking. The Sergeant at Arms 'surrounded' him to get him back to the witness stand. Allegedly, some stories say that there could have been a probable plan of escape because his bodyguards and drivers started the engine and were about to leave. The Senate Guards locked down the place with the order of the Senate President Enrile.

It was also improper for the former Chief Justice to drag the name of his late relative to the court saying he is  a spoiled brat and a rich kid. This issue goes back to his family feud due to business matters between Corona, Basa-Guidotti Incorporated. It is said that this late relative sold his properties to him because the family was in poverty when he died. CJ said that instead of investing his money to this said company of Basa-Guidotti he invested in Dollar Accounts. The daughter of the late relative was crying giving her statement to the press. She said he doe snot have to drag his father's name because he is not their to reason for himself. She said he was a good man and of good character and was never unemployed.

He should have saved himself from the very start knowing the extent of power the current President of the Republic has while on his seat as the Chief of the nation.

The PhilStar: Chief Justice On Trial: Corona Takes On The Witness Stand
After he left the court he was found by the Court Guards near the Basement Parking and brought him to the Clinic. He was brought to the court once again where he received a whipping from the Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile.

A cross examination of the Prosecution Panel will happen tomorrow. Another most awaited day of the Philippines when Chief Justice CJ Corona takes the witness stand once again.

Overview: The Philippines-China On Island Disputes & Socio-Cultural Ethics

Last night I was watching videos on Youtube regarding the events that could take place in case China has decided to use force against the Philippines. There were so many ignorant comments from Chinese people of mainland China and HK. Some people said things that were actually uncalled for and had no relevance whatsoever to the issue on Scarborough Shoal.

On the Filipino - Chinese Values Contrast...

This is when you will really realize if a person is a person of sense or a person of bluff. Some opinions were correct about the Philippines. Like for instance, that Filipinos are poor and that most of us don't have money in the bank. This issue will go down to the values and the preferences of each individual. Some people might opt to save for the rainy days and some just don't as they have some other responsibilities that they need to prioritize. Hence no money in the bank. If Filipinos are truly poor then how come SM malls in the country are owned by the Chinese business tycoon Henry Sy? Why is that the the Chinese lives in a government allocated town of the Philippines called China Town? Why are our investors Chinese or of Chinese descent? This is because the Philippines in reality is  a huge basket of money. A blatant proof is people in the RP loves to shop no matter what level of income they belong to they will always find a way to shop. Filipinos are not much of  a business minded individuals they love to splurge on beautiful things. Of course this is not generally true as it is not generally true that all Chinese are wild dogs. Some Chinese are also good people aside from those who love to crush cat heads or drown dogs in a pond of garbage or leave a little girl dying in the street. The value for life in the modern Chinsese society is depressingly low. Nonetheless, like most Asians, Chinese people are also very family oriented but of course family oriented means they have to marry their own kind and certainly think about the financial status of both families before the marriage.

Filipinos on the other hand has the freedom to choose to marry the woman or man of their liking. Yes, there are oppositions on the family if they don't have the same status but as they always say--'Love Prevails'. And so for Filipinos the issue of annulment comes when a marriage is not successful. The children will suffer because their parents are fighting or are legally separated and most of the time without support from the father. Then the issue of poverty comes in because the children wasn't able to go to school and have a jumpstart to better their lives. The teenagers are likely to get married early or get pregnant before marriage. You can say that the Filipino people are more emotional than the Chinese and it gets the better of them most of the time.

Meanwhile, the Chinese thinks about money before anything else. Chinese people are probably very workaholic because in my opinion, they are not smart enough (I wonder how Kong Zi feels today) compared to the Filipino counterpart who are proven to be loved by employers inside or outside their country because of their proven hospitability and smarts. Filipinos are not just smart they are very hardworking. Albeit, the problem of the Filipinos is that they go gaga when it comes love. When you go abroad and meet Filipinos--usually they are females, the males are usually engineers and seamen/seafarers, which is not as many as the count of the female counterpart in terms of population as an immigrant or expat. Most of the women are working as Domestic Helpers or cleaners or the better one--part timers. When you ask them about their life's story you will certainly hear a Maalaala Mo Kaya-like story. The mothers work abroad because their husbands are parasites. Of course these types of people come from the same background as other poor Filipinos based in their home country who are also jobless or if with a job, is not earning as much as the family needs.

The Chinese on this part are better. They think of providing for the family even without love. Hence, they are good providers. As long as they do the wishes of their parents and relatives. Of course there love marriages as well. The biggest problem of China is that they are over populated and thus poverty is inevitable while the Filipinos are poor because of the corruption of its government. The problem of China in corruption is more rampant than in the Philippines, that is 100% sure. But the focus of the problem in Chinese society would be the overflowing population, refugees, POVERTY and injustice because as I have said population is their biggest problem: Corruption is less highlighted. On the contrary, the Philippines poverty is highlighted because the population is less than 1% compared to that of China. It is always expected that if a country has small population and have tons of resources then that country is capable of fending for its people's needs. However, this is not one of the realities in the Philippines due to corrupt politicians.

China is hated by most countries in the world because of their values and lack of virtue especially in animal welfare. Well, welfare is not the right word. They do not have that! Chinese people tend to not care about their own people as well. It's like when you are dropped in China you need to take part on The Hunger Games--each for his own and survival of the fittest. The Chinese people would even let a child die just to avoid any criminal liabilities. They eat all kinds of animals, even fetus or aborted babies and are pointed as one of the major buyers of the Rhino Horn which is greatly condemned by the International Community. Even though the world knows that Rhino horn is not a medicine they continue to urge poachers to supply the demand. This is just one of those Chinese BS OR ancient medicine BS. Taichi, Karate, Shaolin or whatever are all good but when it comes to this they will slaughter everything on Earth for their tradition of BS primitive science.

In the Philippines, Kapampangans eat dogs and cats, maybe not all but they certainly do. There are dog fightings as a form of gambling in some underground societies. Of course they're all illegal as Jai Alai. Poor people in Manila and in some places in the north and south of Manila tend to eat stray animals because they cannot afford to buy a decent meal for their family. See for Filipinos it's a need but for Chinese it's for their twisted beliefs. The citizens of China who are really poor and are homeless tend to come visit the Philippines and never leave like what Koreans do. They soon become part of the Chinese community in Binondo called the 'China Town'. That is how good hearted Filipinos are. They take responsibility for the refugees of their neighboring country and give them their own place. The Philippine government should open it's eyes wider because their own people are called squatters in their own country where as Chinese refugees are given their own place properly named and identified to be their own community! A China Town. Heck, there should be a Filipino Town too! With it no other race will be able to live there as it is for the less fortunate Filipinos who are considered refugees or squatters on their own country! The Philippines has welcomed China for a very long time. Even before the Spaniards named it after their king--King Philip. They traded with the Filipinos since time immemorial and have enjoyed the privileges of staying in Philippine soil.

On the Scarborough, Recto Bank & Spratleys Islands...

Now that they have discovered a great potential of secured income from the Philippine islands: Scarborough Shoal, Recto Bank, and Spratleys Islands, they want to claim and take control of those islands. It was said in the news and in some forums, I watched last night, that the Philippines during the Arroyo adminstration had a bilateral agreement to explore these islands in dispute with China. This was when Gloria Macapagal Arroyo was advocating close ties with China. Now that the new president NoyNoy Aquino does not want anything to do with the previous plans of the former president, I suppose, is retaliating the control of China for oil and gas exploration. The former President was 'selling' the oil&gas rich islands in exchange for a higher credit rate and infrastructures promised by Chinese Government. When NoyNoy took charge his plans were different. He is pro good-government and transparent-policy oriented. The dispute started when Chinese vessels harassed the Philippine Army in our own islands. China wants to control the oil and gas exploration of the Philippine Islands as a strategic location and to stregnthen their economy--that is the main goal. To note that the islands of Scarborough and Spratleys are within the West Philippine Sea which is also called South China Sea. China thinks they can own everything in the South China Sea, in this case then they should also claim the Philippines since it is in South China Sea! The whole of the Philippines are located in the center in between South China Sea and the South East waters of the Pacific Ocean! This is not the first time that Chinese vessels harassed the Philippine vessels especially the Fishermen who are of course fishing in our own territorial waters & are supposed to be bound by our own jurisdiction! It is said in the local news of ABS-CBN that China does not want war, "they ONLY want to SHARE the Philippines' natural resources". In this sentence I don't know if it is only I who is having a big question mark popping up or is this statement just wrong? To me it delivers a message of 'selfishness' and that "we are powerful now so will claim whatever we want, it is a strategic location as much as an abundant supply of oil and gas, so we want it! And you do not have a choice!" Another message it delivers is: "China Is A Bully".

The distance between Spratleys and China is way beyond their designated territory even according to ancient maps and the signed agreement of "Actual Philippine EEZ - UNCLOS III - December 10, 1982" and the "Actual China EEZ - UNCLOS III - December 10, 1982". This agreement is under oath in the United Nations Convention On The Law Of The Sea or UNCLOS III.

China - Scarborough - 857.45km
China - Spratleys - 895.59km

RP - Scarborough - 219.89km
RP - Spratleys - 232.91km

Does China expect the Philippines to yield her own islands for their benefit? Isn't this preposterous and just shameful for China to act like an alligator? Their claims over Bajo de Masinloc/Scarborough Shoal, Spratleys & Recto Bank are a violation of the International Treaty of all nations. They should be punished and Philippines should not compromise at all.  The Philippines must keep her islands without compromise as a sovereign state. There are some bits of pieces of Scarborough that belongs to OR falls in between the ASEAN area of 9 countries including Vietnam BUT is NOT OWNED by any country in South east Asia. These tiny bits of islands can be explored by all 9 countries BUT what is the RP's will be retained by the RP. In 2011 up to now when the Balikatan Exercise began in Subic the Chinese government are infuriated thinking it is our strategy to counter their efforts with the help of USA. USA is not siding on anyone in terms of the land and water territory but will not tolerate any armed conflict in resolving the issue. One fatal blow from China to the Philippines will make US retaliate and could possibly ignite the 3rd World War. Recently, a few days ago, China had the same joint exercise with Russia to show off their power that they can take on anybody. Is this a coincidence? That shouldn't even be a question. It is an intentional action from both China and Russia being two of the largest Communist states in the world. I say, communism is the worst ideology ever invented by man. They control the people like robots and make them think that it is for their own good and emphasises that "equality" is the key to a peaceful society. That means if you are a farmer who wants to become a doctor you are going against the laws of the state. You can never be anything but what you already are. If you are born in the bloodline of leaders then you are bound to follow the same path. Going against it is fatal. You cannot dance any other dance except the dances that the government tells you to dance. You cannot sing any other songs except what your leader tells you to sing. You can only eat food you are told to eat and you can only stay in hotels designated for your 'class'. Communism--a 'classless' society is indeed without class system!

The Philippines will probably consider US to help us in our oil and gas exploration in partnership venture to strengthen both alliace and economy of the Philippines and the now deteriorating USA than yield to China!

The US-Philippines alliance has been long enjoyed by both parties since 114 years ago. US paved the way for the American Educational System in the the RP and they taught the Filipinos their language unlike the Spanish who divided RP to rule them, the US unified the Philippines. Ever since the US-Philippines alliance has been strong.

China Makes Up New Stories About RP on Scarborough Issue

China is making up stories in a conference saying that the Philippines is claiming Scarborough island and that the Philippines started the tension by harassing Chinese Vessels. In view of this they said that the Philippines has broken an AGREEMENT with them regarding the issue. Malacanan has clarified that they have NEVER HAD AN AGREEMENT with China regarding the issue since China is ignoring them and that they never harassed any Chinese vessel. Think about this, how would we harass them when we know we cannot fire back when they fire at us? We know what we are not capable of at this moment. Whose vessels goes home empty handed because of Chinese soldiers confiscating their catch!? Isn't it us? You really are thick-skinned people! You claim what isn't yours because of greed!

Making up stories is not something new in Chinese history. This is not an unprecedented event. This is just the Chinese way and culture. They do not care about anything but their greedy ambition. Such culture less society should not be tolerated!

This is one of those times when I think Kong Zi should rise from the dead and remind Chinese leaders of the real importance of values in a society of more than 1.3 Billion population who has forgotten the teachings of their forefathers.

The Philippines vs China: Scarborough-Spratleys Issue

China does not want war, THEY WANT A SHARE on Scarborough's riches... according to an analyst America will be a big help in controlling China's preemptive response in the Scarborough issue. They will not use ammunition or violence in dealing with the Philippines. China wants our islands and is persistent in its claim because they want to show off to the world that they are gaining power and influence. Need not to mention that Scarborough and Spratleys are legitimately and legally owned by the Philippines since time immemorial. They have been benefitting from our country ever since the Philippines came into being and vice versa. Moreover, you have lived in our country for so long and this is what we get from you selfish people.

The Philippines must be strong in dealing with China's bullying because it makes them more persistent knowing that our government is not proactively supporting our fishermen who goes home empty handed after Chinese vessels confiscate their catch which happens constantly! I suggest that America put more Filipinos in the UN and in the International Court of Justice and International Tribunal.

Now they also want our 2.7 Trillion Feet of natural gas from Recto Bank! They harassed the Philippine Vessels who were studying the island. They want all our islands because we have natural gas! You can get even in terms of economy but you will never see the Philippines yield her islands. We fought for our country before, we are willing to do it again over a hundred times.

This is a lesson for the Philippines not being able to tap into their own natural resources and when they do there are always Chinese and other foreigners who invest in the business. Limit foreign investments and invest in the people who are all intelligent and creative! Filipinos are the most talented and most versatile intelligent people in Asia and the government should see that early before it's too late!

How do we fight for our own lands when greedy Chinese government have the equipment to fight and we don't! The Philippines will use all means to retain it's rights of its own islands!

China is a BULLY! America should do something about it immediately! They will bully all countries once they get a head start! It's the nature of their government to do that ever since. It is a power hungry country and must not be unleashed.
